Is there any way that I can choose not to see the "Similar Threads" section at the bottom of each thread? It mostly seems to dredge up old stuff (really old in some cases). I think it must be auto-generated by the software.
I've looked in "Preferences" and I can't see an option for it.

Not as far as I know, it's a limitation of the software

I just don't bother to look at that list. I stop scrolling down when I get to the comments box.

I've been scrolling past it to get to the "top" button. I'm sure I'll get used to just ignoring it.

Never really thought about it, TBH I never look down there
Must admit the "top" button is not that obvious right down there, I just scroll, but I know it can be a long way sometimes.
My old samsung phone always had an arrow and you could return to the top from any where on the page, my new one doesn't.
I'm not sure if that was provided by Chrome but I cant find an option in there either.

By the time I'm at the bottom of a thread it's often easier to scroll down than up (or just hit the back button to go back where I came from). It's really not a big deal, I only asked in case there was a setting or option that I'd overlooked.

As far as I recall, it can be switched off on our side, but it is a global setting - so if we did so, we would be doing so for everybody.

Right at the bottom of the page in the black line below Similar Threads is a little buttonmarked top and that gets you back to the top of the page.

Oh, I like the "similar" threads alert because when I try something new, I like to see if it's been done before, how many times and success rates. And in part I like it because I keep second guessing myself! :rolleyespink:
