What's your weather like MARCH 2024

8C overcast but dry here in central Norfolk … we’ve decided today is the day to head for Cromer … cross your fingers for us.

 

Sunny, 11c, threatened with rain again sometime later and 19c. Hope the rain will wet the ground unlike yesterday.

 

Light cloud and a gentle breeze from the south west temp 9c feels like 7c

 

This second day of spring it is cloudy, snow is forecast and 20f -6c.

 

Owch.

 

We are having a light shower, with 14,3c and 90% humidity. We (me and my plants) are loving it. Naturally both furries have come n, the boy peeking out the clear catflap.

 

We have dry, cloudy, 40 mph winds and 10 degrees, though it feels like half of that.

 

Second bright and sunny day running - a first for this year! Set to get to 20C with a light breeze so I'm moving my spring cleaning efforts outside and will be tackling the polytunnel this pm.

More of the same tomorrow pm then a blast inside and out with the Karcher to clear winter grime, dust and Mimosa pollen from the cover and then I can sow some seeds.

The sun is shining through gaps in the clouds, quite calm and 17c. Our light shower this morning was our lot as the rain and thunderstorm passed us by.

 

It's been a pleasant day where I am today. Overcast mostly, but the odd burst of sunshine. Reasonably mild, too.

 

Mixed bag today, overcast this morning, but dry. This afternoon we have sunshine and washing on the line outside.

 

it's been a warm overcast day with a high of 23c, tomorrow is the last of the warmth and then a drop of 10/12 deg and rain!

 

We got up to 28f -2c and the clouds are letting the sun peak at us here and there. The guessers are saying tonight will be cold again but not as bad as originally forecast. It will only go down to 19f -7c . And for a special spring treat, we will be getting snow tomorrow.

 

@floralies I've just checked the weekend's weather and we're set to go down to 3C at night with a naughty northerly wind making it feel colder. That means all the pots remaining in the polytunnel will have to stay there but the citrus plants should be OK as they'll be tucked up against a warm, south facing wall.

Rain every day and all day again next week. Humph! Might have to go back to spring cleaning indoors.

@CanadianLori we had temperaures like that in my Belgian garden - rural, central Belgium and nothing between the Channel and the Urals to stop any weather. I remember one Easter with -6C in the daytime. Had a UK friend over to go garden visiting. Not good.
