    £107 and the bag really was full, unlike the last place I used, not cheap but it looks nice stuff, not a stone in sight.

      I've just found what looks to be decent compost (New Horizon All Plants Compost) from a company called Homefire, as well as the top soil and manure I wanted - free delivery, so they've got my order.

            What was the reason for a 8-9 week lead delivery? If I was to take that long to deliver compost nobody would buy from me. I sent out 4 pallets today through the pallet network, Kent, Lincolnshire, Sheffield and Leeds, all will be delivered within 5 working days.

              It's a local company to me. They get insanely busy (they also supply RHS Wisley)but that's the longest lead time I've heard from them. Maybe they've had issues with drivers?
              Definitely going to lose them sales though

              Yes, about 99% of the pallets I send out through the pallet network are to residential addresses. My Lad was delivering local (Cumbria) today, 3 pallets to a house in Keswick, 2 pallets to a house in Windermere, 2 pallets to a house in Ulverston and 3 pallets to an allotments in Barrow

                    I ordered 2 container loads of peat on the 8th from Estonia and they are due to be in my yard Monday/Tues. However, trying to get composted bark and wood fibre to incorporate in peat reduced compost and peat free is taking longer this year, the volumes are not there.

                      Yes we do have our own website. When we went in to lockdown we regularly had to disable a vast range of products due to the overwhelming demand. Hence why I have never advertised it on here or other social media platforms.
