I love a nice sunrise - some lovely photos here. I don't always see them easily though, so sunsets are a bit better when I'm at home. We had a beautiful pink/red sky last night - should have taken a pic. :)

Good morning @fairygirl and thank you I am very fortunate as I live on a hill and my windows face east which gives a lovely view of the early morning Sunrise but unless I travel for a few miles I never see the Sunsets, enjoy your weekend:smile:

I face roughly south east, but there are too many other properties in the way for the sunrises. I'd have to go up the farm road to get a better view. I've had some nice ones when I've been en route to hills, but it can sometimes be tricky to stop.
Enjoy your weekend too - I'm hoping the weather's a wee bit kinder than yesterday's.
Thank you for your very warm, helpful welcome to us all too. :)

I took these sunset photos last year @wiseowl so I hope it's OK to post here :).

These are from one of my walks along the Wirral coastline, looking towards North Wales. (The light had almost faded in the second photo!)

Thank you @wiseowl and for your warm welcome. I spent most of my working life in Kent and did a lot of exploring, it's a lovely county! I lived in Beckenham, worked in Bexleyheath and have relatives in Tenterden.

No worries @Plantminded I was brought up to believe that every "Stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet"there you are then "are you a Man of Kent or a Kentish Man;),no matter I shall look forward to seeing many more of your photos and posts, did you know that Tenterden, is known as the 'Jewel of the Weald',

I'm neither @wiseowl, I was born on the Wirral but grew up overseas. My parents left the UK for warmer climes after that notorious winter of 1962/63! I didn't know that about Tenterden - nice vineyard there too!
