Your anemones are gorgeous @Athelas and you have so many of them. I tried to grow a smaller carpet of them but I think they were eaten by mice.

 

@redstar - the sunlight on the trees in your garden looks great, and the magnolias are lovely. It gives the impression that it's still cold weather for you. Is it?

 

Seeing that mimosa reminded me of something I miss, 2018, but in the snow it was beautiful - totally wrong place to plant it....

In between showers I discovered my small patch of fritillaries in flower yesterday . I’m in the East Midlands so I’m surprised they are out before @Chicky

I am surprised by that, @Chicky, up here in the cold windswept North, most have mine have been flowering for a week.

 

Mine are obviously excessively shy this year @Punkdoc …..I have flower buds, but not yet open. Maybe I’ll be enjoying mine in May

My little pink tulips have grown and multiplied. I was expecting them to have rotted, the earth is so waterlogged.

I have those tulips @Busy-Lizzie but mine are only just showing the first hint of colour. Are they in your garden in France?
