no emails

Hi to all
For 3 days i haven't been getting any emails after I've posted, i still get alerts.
I've checked everything and it's all the same, all the boxes are ticked as usual.

I have the opposite problem @Logan - I don't want emails, and never have on any forum, so I ticked the relevant boxes, but I still get them! I've re done it and saved several times and it's still the same. I've had the same problem with the signature thing, but I haven't got round to asking for help with it.
I just marked the emails as spam, so at least they don't fill my inbox.

 

I don’t get the emails any more … I was hoping it was because I’d unchecked some options. I was getting swamped with GC emails but now I’m very happy that I just get alerts.

 

Yes, I get them and don't want them, can't seem to get rid.

 

I don't get emails, you can get them if you use watch thread, but I think there is also a box to untick in your profile pages/preferences section somewhere if you don't want them

 

I get emails but they go straight into my Bin box. I have also tried to stop them but haven’t found the way yet. Any advice welcome

 

I like the emails it keeps me up to date.

Maybe @Fat Controller can help or @JWK .

 

I ticked all the profile and preference boxes not to get emails but still did. Then I tried the 'unwatch thread' button on all the threads that I had been looking at and that solved it, as @pete mentioned. It's in the top right corner on each thread.

 

Yep, it seems a little hit and miss to stop/get emails. When I first joined I got a few, stopped a lot by unticking, but still got some. I eventually went through a few areas more unticking and have had none for quite some time now....
@Logan I'm not too sure what emails are issued and under what circumstances (as you can tell I'm a no email please person), but perhaps a daft question, are there and in your spam?

 

@DiggersJo I'll have a look in my spam folder. I used to get a email when i posted something, but not all of the time which I don't mind.

I've also noticed that in the preferences area you have to tick or untick the boxes and then go to the bottom of the page and click on save preferences.

 

Dare I tick a few boxes to test....

 

If getting emails on old threads and you don't want them

on all the threads you've posted in, click to unwatch them and then click to watch and a box opens and tick no the emails but you have to do this on all the threads you have post in
