Idem except it was only 6C :) A shower was forecast at midday here too but it arrived early, much to the disgust of me and the cat, as we were weeding quite a way from any shelter :th scifD36:

Light rain and a moderate breeze from the south temp 10c feels like 8c.

12C so far but not likely to get much warmer as it's overcast but with silver linings so nowhere near as dark as yesterday. Supposed to stay dry now for a few days and get to 23C on Saturday.

Fingers crossed. I need a good warm day to start drying things out a bit.

That's what I need, a cat that helps doing the weeding. :)

It is now pouring. Back to normal. It is official. All of the local reservoirs are now full. They said so on the TV news last night so it must be true!

I don't think I can join in here as I'm not even up when the first page today was complete. @Logan you should meet my sister if you are getting up at that time of night.
I've just come in from my 5-10 minute in between rain trip to the garden. On the bright side BBC weather is saying 17c tomorrow, yes, with showers.

Yesterday was dry, astonishing! But yes, back to heavy rain this morning, then drizzle, low visibility and now overcast and damp. Closed roads yesterday due to high tides and extremely strong winds.

We have had variation in the warmer today: drizzle with cloud, rain with a sharp breeze and drizzle with a cold breeze.

Its just starting to rain a bit here and the wind has picked up, but most of the day has been bright or sunny with a temperature of around 15c.

You will get banned ...:) I don't really miss the warmer weather, and certainly not prolonged temperatures above 35c for months on end. But I do miss the certainty you could rely on regards rain - it would rain - it would stop - and you knew it was over for the day/week. Here in the UK it is very different, but coming back has made me appreciate the weather - just don't like the being in the rain.

Hi DiggersJo. Where were you that was warm?
We really don't go above 35c often or for long ... thankfully. My ideal is 20-25c. We don't get much rain here. sadly.
