That looks very much like either a Geranium palmatum or Geranium maderense, @Clare G. The first is/was reasonably hardy in Northants, but the second is more tender, and more spectacular :)

OUr south facing, inherited wisteria is finally starting to open its blooms and is buzzing with bees and perfume.

The east facing one is a day or three behind but still buzzing. Ignore all the overgrown grass - OH's fault for delaying the mower service so now we're waiting for a "man who can" to cut it to manageable lengths for our mowers.

Thanks @Perki, sorry to hear about yours. Mine are in a sunny, south facing spot in front of the house, which I think helps. The scent is amazing, especially in the evening.

@Obelix-Vendée, those wisterias are fantastic! And lovely pale purple and pink colours there @Busy-Lizzie .

Several views across the garden with lily flowered tulips opening up for the first time in this morning's sun. Yippee :yay:.

Your baby montana is looking good @Busy-Lizzie . Loads of flowers for its size and I love blue camassias. I have some white ones in a shady bed that began as deep reds and creamy whites but has acquired pink bits by accident.

That looks like some slope you're managing there @Plantminded . Looking good.

Thank you @Obelix-Vendée, yes it’s a bit of a challenge, the photos make it look steeper though!

Self-sown honesty - mostly Chedglow with some alba variegata and a bit of Somerset Marble.
There's a foxglove (hopefully white), an aquilegia and some forget-me-nots in there too.

Tulip "Blue Heaven" opened for the first time today. Not looking terribly blue at the moment but apparently it matures to more of a lilac colour.
