Opposite Rome on the east coast of Italy. Can't recall the exact year, but we had 35-42c from May through to Sep. It was one of the reasons we came back to the UK, earthquakes being another big factor. We would do it all again and recommend it to anyone, but unfortunately for us it's too late to go back. Still, apparently we have sun tomorrow!

Good morning to all.
17C to 18C, cloudy but no rain and gentle wind (14k) today. Tomorrow even a bit sunshine and still no rain, and on Saturday the same as a bonus. Our luck might go longer, because the forecast is now sure that the high over France gets stronger as already forecast from the BBC last week.
I don't know what to do first with so many possibilities. I could cycle, or have a long walk, or take pictures. You will definitely find me in the garden in the afternoon.

Stupidly warm overnight last night, so the low was 10 degrees - it's that just now [7.45 am]
21mm rain since this time yesterday, but shaping up to be a good day today - think the high is to be around 14, so it'll be pleasant for a seat and a cuppa, and my walk should be dry.
Breezy as usual, so the washing from yesterday is out, and another lot's on.

Thick, low mist. I cannot see the end of the garden. Mizzling so very damp but fairly mild. Not nice.

 

I would not like that. Our 'heat' is July-September and we typically stay high 20s and may creep into the low 30s. I have never seen us over 40c.

This morning we are sunny, a light breeze, 15c going to 27c and breezy. This is warm for April.
