Simple Minds and Del Amitri - went to the concert at Birmingham Utilita Arena about 10 days ago. Great seats right at the front. Simple Minds were as good as in the 1980s. Great concert. Now having to play our old DVDs again!

 

I listen to this lot often on a morning (no idea why). When there is no news they fill in with bits like today. Lulu is to retire (I thought she had years ago). What intrigues me is why she was still shouting at 75! Money, fame or shame (she can't sing)...

... and Today had ABBA 50 year since winning the Eurovision Song Contest this morning, must be more news than that! A bit hot and cold on the Stones I think it's the rubber lips....

Love or hate Van Halen, they're catchy! While working at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre in London many years ago there was a fantastic rendition of this vibrating through the arena played on the organ there.
