    Imagine any other workplace where people routinely shout insults at eachother in meetings, and don't ever actually propose anything constructive.

        Today Keir said he has the only unsigned copy of the book - implying that apart from any books she may have given away to friends that nobody else has bothered to get a copy. :heehee:

                I've been in IT for nearly 30 years. I wouldn't accept that. Not from my fellow techies, not from the end users, or the bosses or the third party partners and stakeholders. If I was running a meeting and it descendents into chaos like that, I'd soon restore order or ask offenders to leave. If I was in such a meeting but not heading it up, I'd just walk out, telling the people to feel free to book my time when they are ready to act like adults. I've done both these things more than once.

                  I thought mine was relatively modern (Samsung s6) but just checked - released in 2015! Not old to me, but that's bloody technology for you. It won't do 5g and had to be coaxed into 4g, so the new one will work better in that way. It would be just fine for me though if the bank weren't updating the app!

                              I don't do online banking either - apart from moving money between my accounts.

                              I have put a block on any money being moved through online banking, outside of being between my accounts, as there was an attempt in the past to steal money from me. It turned out to be an inside job which I had thwarted by having already changed the limit at which banks run a check by a human (and not a Liz Truss :heehee:).

                              Each bank usually has a limit below which they don't check movement from accounts. I had reduced that to 50% of the normal for my bank. :blue thumb: After that I put a block on it. :paladin:
