          Our new garden is providing some interesting surprises. Some we will keep, others may be replaced in time. But not this year.
          I'm still trying to negotiate with OH where I can put the raspberry canes in the autumn. Hmmm!!

                        @Loofah Have you ever done a spore print from a fungus? If not give it a go. Remove the stalk carefully and lay the fruiting body face down onto some white paper and leave it safe for a day. Carefully lift the body of the paper and you find the print of the many thousands of spores that have dropped from the gills. Fascinating to see how many spores come from one plant. Wear thin gloves when touching the fungus if you don't know which one it is.

                          First Astrantia to flower this year. No idea which variety as ours just appear around the garden in all sorts of colours. I do like them.
