No he's a border collie, they don't know much about him but he was brought over to England along with his brother who they have already homed, surplus to requirements apparently and just be hanging around on a farm maybe.

I hope so, just not raising my hopes too much at the moment I've got to sort out a vet and take pictures of the garden to show them when I next go over there.

They are pretty thorough before they let you have a dog.

That's good, some people who shouldn't have a dog have got them too easily in the past

Made up some salad dishes this morning for our bring and share lunch at our village garden club AGM. Always interesting to see what others bring.

Have you had a Border Collie before @pete? They are lovely, but can be nervous and they need a lot of exercise. I've had Border Collies since my late 20s until a few years ago when the last one died. He was my favourite, Tigger. I used to go out riding with him in the French countryside, he was so obedient, never chased anything.

Hi, yes had two that spanned about 28yrs between them and before that a collie cross, I do like them because they are easy to train mostly and seem to prefer humans to other dogs.
They have strange ways, often, but if you know the breed its just normal.

My last one died nearly 12 yrs ago but for various reasons it would have been impractical to have had a dog until about now.

Tigger looks like he was a good un.

Another trip out to the Trossachs, this time on my bike. Somewhat out of shape but managed 12miles or so.

Have had a lazy day doing almost nothing apart from checking and watering seedlings, collecting 4 eggs from our 4 chooks and sorting the photos I took at the patchwork expo on Thursday ready to share at tomorrow's meet.

Absolutely cream-crackered after spending 2.5 days baking cakes and then all day yesterday selling cakes at the plant fair. Bought a few plants too but being on my feet all day with bumpy ground and 2 new knees was a tad tiring.

However, while I was out to play, OH got his rotavator out to tickle the veg plot for this year's spuds and my new grass path so I can get my spuds planted on Tuesday and then prick out some seedlings.
