I've used some of them already....but did wonder what some of them were, especially the last two. Although maybe I should go to Sp**k$*v**$ I thought they looked like a carrot and a leek

Thanks for the symbols and ratings explanation @shiney. I, too, thought they were a carrot and a leek! Oops I can’t hover though, on ipad and I don’t have a cursor. Perhaps I need to practise hovering, I could hover around the house, the garden, hmmm , may be a nice pastime.

 

@shiney, ha ha! That would be a sight for sore eyes, wouldn’t it? I’m practising soon though, hover, hover……I’ll let you know!

 

I didn’t realise that was a spanner! I too thought it was carrot! But just assumed that carrots would be rated useful in a gardening forum.

Pics are easy, @Valley Gardener. Just type whatever words you want in your post (if any) and then click on the little symbol of a mountain in a frame (beside the smiley). Then you can choose the pic you want from your photo album and upload it. It takes a few seconds and then when the blue line gets to 100%, the option to put it in the post appears.

How to find specific other people, I'm not sure of. I can't seem to locate a members' list or similar. You can follow people, but only once you've found them, of course.

 

I don't know whether there's a crafters thread on here @Valley Gardener . If there is, it would probably be in the off-topic discussions section Off-Topic Discussion. And if there isn't, maybe you could start one?

If you pop in to "Yawn Yawn Wakey Wakey 2024" thread (also in off-topic, here - https://www.gardenerscorner.co.uk/forums/the-muppet-show.57/) you'll probably see some familiar names and maybe some who are using slightly different names (I was JennyJ over on GW).
