        Good morning all.

It rained a bit in the night.

Yesterday we went shopping and bought food for lunch today and a battery for the electric fence to keep the deer out of the garden when we are in Norfolk.

I prepared most of the food yesterday for today's lunch. I hope it doesn't rain as I want to show them the garden.

          Good morning! Lest we forget!

Today in New Zealand and Australia we celebrate ANZAC Day. 1st WW Commemoration of those lovely soldiers who gave up their lives for Britain at Gallipoli.

              Good morning all.
Not a lot to say today.
Arm is a bit sore, when reaching up, after the Covid booster.
Think I will browse some shops today.
              Have a good day

And the lovely nurses @Tui34. Did you see the TV drama series about them? It was very moving.

Well, I tried all the different multi number codes - without success. I've looked online at the make/type of key box. It seems that I have no choice but to continue, or attempt to jemmy it off the wall.
While I enjoy wrecking things (comes from my childhood), my wife is concerned that I'll damage the brickwork - and she's justified.

                        Good morning everyone.
Anyone got a plaster? There I was, thickish branch in hand, chopping away with secateurs, now dripping blood from the fleshy palm of my hand...a classic gardening minor injury- I do it often!
I'm now having a soothing cup of tea.
@Brenda, enjoy your shopping, I hope it lifts your mood.
Fingers crossed, @Busy-Lizzie that it won't rain on you today. It's cloudy and rather chilly here... it would be nice to wear fewer items of clothing... one day!
@RowlandsCastle, I can only admire your determination. Good luck!

Saw our pregnant roe doe eating camellia flowers last night, didn’t know she ate those. Then today I saw a muntjac under the apple tree so nothing is safe in this garden.

                              Good morning (just).
Yet another wet, miserable day, with sleety rain in the mix, even though it started out looking promising. Getting truly fed up with it all now. The forecast for today was meant to be dry, with bright intervals when I listened to it on this morning’s tv so on that note, I put the remaining bedding in to wash thinking it would dry nicely outside. No chance of that .
@Brenda I hope the retail therapy helps you feel better.
Well @RowlandsCastle, you’ve got a lot more patience than me, I have to say. I think I’d have given up by now - I hope your perseverance pays off :fingers crossed:.

Hello everyone. Well the day started sunny but it's clouded over now. At least tomorrow it's forecast to move out of single figures (10C ) for the first time in days.

Spent yesterday deciding where to go for a week that's suddenly become spare just after the first May bank holiday. After much deliberation we've opted to go back to the campsite we went to in Croatia last Sept. It was nice there but we didn't really get out and see much of the surrounding area. Driving anywhere meant packing up the van (a pain), there was no bus service and it was too hot for anything except early morning, short cycle rides. We didn't do much beyond walk to the beach or pool and chill.
This time we'll fly and rent a car for the week so we can get out and about if it's not beach weather. It's definitely not at the moment - is it Ante? - 9C at Pula airport at lunchtime yesterday! Could do to add 10C to that over the next 2 weeks please.

@pattie - hope your hand isn't too sore. I'm always stabbing and cutting myself in the garden. Clumsy as, that's me.
