Geums adding colour amongst emerging grasses and other perennials.

Well I don't know about ''looking good'' - not like the above there - but a few Spring-a-lings..
Verbascum 'Violetta' / 'Rosetta'..

Gypsophila cerastioides.. new to me.

Pulsatilla..

Helianthemum 'Supreme'..

Halimium libanotis..

Convolvulus cneorum.. / Berberis 'Admiration'.. / variegated Iris..

Digitalis illumination 'Cherry Brandy' / Brunnera 'Jack Frost'..

 

They are definitely looking good @Mrs Hillard .

 

That glendora is wonderful @Plantminded - I managed to kill it when it was called lithospermum and again when it was called lithodora ... Any tips please?

..thank you !.. I can't help with your question as I'm cheating a bit here - I only planted it the other day. I couldn't resist. I tried one of this type before and it did not come back, so I thought I might try again.

 

Doesn't it prefer acid soil?

 

The soil here is neutral @pete but I have a Camellia which does well too, even though it’s in neutral, dry soil, and full sun. Some plants ignore the rules!

That's a gorgeous one @zenj . I don't grow them even though I have ideal conditions, because I don't like the blue ones which are most readily available. I know there are whites, but I have a lot of white planting already.
I really shouldn't add that one to the list though....
