Whats your weather like May 2024

Good morning all,cloudy but dry with a high of 13c .

 

Cloudy and breezy, and an o'night low of 9 degrees. The same just now [almost 8am] and supposed to get sunny later on but gale force winds predicted too. High is to be around 14, but winds will knock that back a bit too.

Yesterday was lovely. The constant wind kept it from being far too hot, but it got to 19 degrees here, which is definitely the highest this year, and high for this time of year.

 

Torrential. Again. Grr.

 

10c at 6am heavy rain and windy, now light breeze and damp

 

Brightly overcast, 11c, going to 19c.

 

Cornwall.
Raining. Again!

 

I don't know why we need a weather warning for thunder storms, it seems a bit childish to me, but that's the 21st century for you ...
Anyway we didn't get them, so they were wrong as usual, and we only had a drop of rain in the night.
It's still not raining here, and although it is cloudy it feels warm and muggy.

 

We've just had a weather warning for thunderstorms from 12pm today until 12pm tomorrow. They always pass us anyway.

 

It would be very nice if you could send that weather along a bit to here in the west, but probably more likely that this rain (yep still heavy) will head east to Carms…

 

It usually does but it will probably clear with you before it does here.

 

The rain is moving east to west which is slightly unusual.
How it totally missed here is a mystery.

Here's a sobering thought, only about 6 weeks before the nights start to draw in.
Just thought it might be worth a mention on the dullest spring in living memory..

 

I hope it’s no offence goldenlilly26, but when ever I read your comments about rain in Cornwall, i have to laugh and have so much empathy with you.
I do hope the rain stops next month when I will be on holiday in the south.
