Whats your weather like May 2024

We had a fine start with light rain forecast, so I donned my light mac and set off on my customary 6 kilometre walk. Was chased back home in the pouring rain by thunder and lightning only a couple of seconds apart - not what you want when you're walking between fields of wind turbines! The return trip was somewhat brisker than the outgoing one.

It keeps threatening to pour down and then brightening up again. It's nice and warm when working outside, but I get cold sitting in the house.

 

What a difference. Yesterday rain rain and rain and cold. Today blue skies and then grey with some wind but so much warmer.

 

Its trying to brighten up now but AM was mostly heavy rain, its slowly moving North but not very fast, still lots of dark clouds around 15c.

 

Bright and breezy, dry and 14 degrees, almost tropical for us lol

 

We got to 23c and sat out front for three hours but have come in now we are back to 21c and are facing East. We have put the heat on in the lounge as our 60cn/walls (outer and inner) make it feel cold to us.

 

Light rain and a gentle breeze from the south south west temp 11c feels like 9c

 

I can believe that, my house has concrete walls and the walls are mostly a day behind the weather, slow to change with the temperature.

Just watched the forecast...down to 2 or 3 tonight!

It will be dry day, partly sunny day with white clouds. Currently 6C and we may get 17C.
The best thing is that it is weekend, and we will stay at home today. I will have time just to sit in the garden and take pictures of everyone who is visiting my garden. Can't go better.
