Aeonium 'Black King Kong' flowering now

      It hasn't got side shoots, it's a new one I sent for last year. It's about 5 inches tall and the flower spike is actually taller than the plant.
      All the leaves have shrivelled up now because it hasn't been watered since October.

      Is it going to die after flowering?
      Some do. Or at least if they only have the one rosette.
