Things that have made you happy today' 2024

When they first came out, being stupid and bored, I often punched the middle out of them and put it back in the other way round.
Then spent them, I wonder if anyone has ever spotted any.

We've just had a police helicopter fly over us. Obviously looking for someone.

 

I ran out of stamps yesterday and still had x4 cards to post but remembered I had used RoyalMail online to buy postage for several abroad cards at crimbo. So I used that, bearing in mind this was late evening. Well Mr Postie arrived this morning with x4 labels (no extra cost for labels or picking up) and off they went. Not too sure I should be happy or not because I might end up never doing anything once the garden robots arrive!

 

I live near the police headquarters so get them all the time.
Often get chinooks at around 11pm as well.

 

Just catching up spending to much time in the garden ! (But we love it) reading this reminds me we had our Christmas Box of our daughter who lives in Oz , a Helicopter ride for the both of us must book it today . Happy Gardening sun is out here in Wales .

 

Celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary today. I know that many here have gone significantly further, but with my sisters at 37th and 40th, and my parents at their 62nd, we're clocking up the years.

We really must all get together sometime.

T'other Half ordered an upright freezer on Monday and delivery was scheduled for today between 2-8pm with a 30 minute call in advance. At 10am they called and pulled up at 10.30am! They take the old away for free but a friend is taking the old fridge/freezer and will give a donation to our cat charity.
