Spotted, yesterday, at Tremenheere Sculpture Garden, Cornwall.
I am pretty sure it is an Olearia, but I can't get a handle on the species.
Crushed foliage has a slight 'minty' smell, but my ancient sense of smell is not too good.

@Fof, I initially thought it was like my Olearia phlogopappa 'Spring Bling' which I bought earlier this year, but looking more closely at the flower formation, mine are more of a daisy formation and yours have only five petals so it's not that one I'm afraid.
    Sorry I can't help.

        Hi flounder
Yes!! There are quite a lot.
That is a useful link and should keep me off the street as I work my way though it.

That is the conclusion I was sort of coming to.
The only question is regarding the number of petals. 'Mine' appears to only have 5. Microphylla appears to have 6+.
            Thanks, flounder

This thread was posted elsewhere, it was responded to by a fellow who is the font of all knowledge...maybe I jumped the gun whilst waiting for the bloke from Tremenheere to confirm!

Neil, from Tremenheere, is going to have to go walkabouts in the garden, as he doesn't recognise it.
@flounder. I did wonder where you got the microphylla from. www.pushingtheborders.com, obviously. Good tastes, my man.
