      And for me. Very slow.

Going back to the picture of the deer on the road, it rather looks to me that one of it's forelegs could be broken and if that was the case, then euthanasia was the right call.

Not quite. By using Moonpig and other commercial sites they normally have in their terms of contract that they have the right to use your content commercially.

On forums you normally haven't given up your rights to the commercial value of the content but, of course, people can copy your pictures to illustrate things - such as what a plant looks like. With @Michael Hewett it is his own painting and if he uploaded it to Moonpig they could sell it as a postcard.

I don't put any of my content on commercial sites and when I was writing my guide books neither the editor, publisher or printer could use my content without permission, especially not commercially - without me taking a cut of the proceeds. :)

It all depends on how you value your content. :noidea:

I'm not finding the site being any slower than usual but I have very slow internet anyway. It's currently running at 11Mb Download and 1Mb Upload.

I only have a guaranteed top Download speed of 12Mb but sometimes it reaches 15. :hapydancsmil:

Would the speed issues not be due to the most welcome new guests who have arrived, all accessing the server

They are welcome to try to make money out of my mug-shots, I've made little! When everyone realises how beautiful they are, I'll see Moonpig in court for the millions they will be worth!

Only found out yesterday from EE who we're with, that I should be turning off the router at least once a week, leave it off for 30 seconds then turn it on again. It's about making sure you've got the latest version. As you turn the router (or whatever it's called) on it will search for upgrades.

My current router (Virgin) has been up and running for 4 month without issue. To be honest it irks me when the "go to option" for your ISP is to re-boot. Then again, both Sky and later Virgin have provided great performance. Just hate having to ever talk to them!

I was told it doesn't matter whether I turn my router off (and on again) or leave it on, I'm not going to get any more speed. :dunno:

So can I borrow some money? :roflol:

@Michael Hewett does some very good paintings so he would certainly not want them pinching his pictures. :old: :)

It worked for us yesterday, that's when I was told to switch it off and on at least once a week to catch any upgrades. I was a bit irked as our download speed had dropped to 45Mbps when we were paying for a guaranteed 200 (I know it's fast, and I'm sure we don't need it, but... well we were paying for it). The techy guy at their end turned our router off and on, resulting 450mg download. He may have tweaked something, but he didn't admit to it.
