Is it Bijou? I have two bought last year which are full of buds but no flowers yet.

Passiflora tricolour, is in reality 3 separate plants grown together, rather than a single cultivar.

I've had a bit of a spend up recently.
            Mainly small plants, various sources
Monstera deliciosa, epipremnum something, peperomia something, fatsia spiders web, various osteospurmums, couple of persicaria, impatiens omeiana, zingiber mioga crugs zing and one I've been after for ages....
colocasia gaoligongensis. I'm well happy...skint, but happy.
Now to save up my pocket money for the other six billion plants I want!:)

I went into B&Q for some lawn edging today, but couldn't find the one I wanted so instead I came home with a Geum Mrs Bradshaw! My first geum (well apart from all the wood avens ....); I've been admiring them in a garden I walk past on my way to work. 2024-05-15_15-05-21_cropped.jpg

Early morning shopping trip to Lidl this morning resulted in two Bidens and a sweet little pink gypsophilia

No photo but we needed to replace fixed log roll edging in our new polytunnel. A lot is now not as good quality as previous years. However and bizarrely went to B&M and found some at £7.99. Hang on a minute surely we saw this on line for B&M at £4.99. Eventually found a member of staff from the garden section. He checked what we had picked up and said yes £7.99. Then he said "hang on a minute!". Went with us back to the display and checked some more barcodes. Found a whole section at £4!!!! He was brilliant and so delighted that he had been able to help us save money. Wow.

Its really good when you find someone working in those places who actually helps the customer, there are some decent people around.

We have a super shop just up the road that we can walk to, so me and hubby bought (and lugged home) a Trachycarpus fortunei £30 and a Stranvaesia davidiana 'Palette'. We already have a Trachy, but it is too big by the house, so we will put a new one in. The old Strans died, probably underwatered.

I would really miss our shop, which is like a mini GC.

@cactus_girl We bought a trachy many years ago for our Christmas tree. We decorated it with very fine gold ornaments and after the holiday planted it outside. It is a magnificent specimen now and greatly appreciated with lots of memories.

It is a shame @On the Levels that hubby wants the current one down as it shades our front room and we can't see the front garden from the window. Maybe he won't get round to it! It does have tatty leaves at the bottom, because of wind. But people do comment on it.

I have just tried to load a photo, but it doesn't load properly......
