Whats your weather like May 2024

Here in North Wales it's cloudy, dull, damp BUT there's hope for a brighter day starting very soon

 

Yesterday's rain turned out to be nothing much, 1.5mm. Today is forecast fine and quite warm, 18C, so the washing is out to do its thing while I'm indoors working.
I've got a day off tomorrow so hopefully some gardening will get done. Otherwise I have plenty of indoor things lined up.

 

It rained all day yesterday...
Cold enough to have the fire on last evening.
Typical May half term weather...

Cloudy here 10c rising to 16c and no rain .

 

I planted out 3 Runner Beans, then it started raining, cleared everything away and now it's hot Sunshine...........Sod it, can I say that

 

Still cool, still grey tho more mono today and the expected dribble of 0.3mm of rain has become a constat drizzle with occasional heavier stuff since we got up.

I might just have to find a waterproof so I can go and plant my Swiss chard Pink Flamingo and the garlic kale as they're practically cimbing out of their pots now. If not, sewing. I can feel a summer frock coming on, just in case the sun does return.

 

It is 59f 13c and the skies have lots of white puffy clouds. I nice change from last night's torrential rain and high winds. This is my kind of lazy gardening - no watering!

Oh dear, we have just passed 30c with a hot breeze.

 

Eek! That would not suit me, @Victoria. I only function below 24 degrees!

 

It's been sunny so far, about 17c with a breeze. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

 

Lots of clouds around but the sun is getting through them, so more sun than shade, 22c is feeling warm but only because the weather has been so bad this spring.
Tomorrow is not looking good, I dont think.

We have to take the one day wonders when we get them.

 

Sunshine and showers here today. The water butts are full which unusual for me at this time of year.
