Yet another plant we can't grow. They just disappear and not because the slugs/snails get them. We never see them again.

It's been a wait to see my species Pelargonium Cucullatum Flore Plenum come to flower, got it in the autumn sale at Fibrex and it kept growing in the usual lanky fashion, it's quite the lovely purple flower. One of the ancestors to many current regals.

Can anyone help with the name of this. Mrs Shiney has grown it from a cutting from someone's garden - who also didn't know the name

This is also not known but that is because it has been here for over 60 years

Love that gazania @Alan Clark. I've not grown gazanias before [or I don't think I have!] but that's very nice. I've just got some irises [sibirica] which have a similar colourway, so they'd be a good combination to have in the garden - if I can find any room...
Lovely colour on the pelargonium @amancalledgeorge :)

Might be worth posting your images on roses thread, @Plantminded. I think they like a picture of the whole plant as well as the flowers

Edited to add @Mrs Hillard may be able to help, I couldn’t remember her post GW name when I first posted

@shiney there are several roses rather like that. Have a look at "Secret". Is it a tea rose, climber, shrub, floribunda? "Handel" is a pink and white climber.

Thanks @Busy-Lizzie. I don't know what type of rose it is as it is still in the in-the-pot stage. I'll ask Mrs S if she knows - don't know whether she got it by doing the cutting herself or if it was done by the 'owner'.
