@pete I suppose the main difference is linearis/rigidus has a lax weeping habit but remains a smallish shrub upto around 6ft, viminalis is virtually a tree which I have seen 15ft high.

And they also look huge! I assume it's not merely because they come at the foreground of the picture. How old are these?

Busy-Lizzie, your Deutzia is a stunner! And so is @Mrs Hillard's berberis.

And Macraignil's garden is also impressive, I'm especially fond of ceanothuses for their blue colour! Some time back I had a ceanothus, but I could only overwinter it here for several seasons. Then I thought it was 'mature enough' to take care of itself and left it without protection for once. Now it's in Heaven...

And here is my modest share of June good-lookers:

        Rhododendron 'Hachmann's Charmant'

        Peony 'Sword Dance'

        Rose 'Ghislaine de Feligonde'

Crucianella stylosa (except for the smell of it)

There are a few holes, but over all it's been quite good this year!

Age wise....this is their 3rd year in the ground, prior to that, a couple of years in pots. Probably 1yr old when I bought them and put in pots.

They really have loved my soil. I think the photo makes them look a bit bigger than they may be, but they are by no means small.

Clematis (not super great but doing better than last year)
                Nepeta, bees loving it
and some new Asters to replace my leucanthemum that just died?! Had it for years, spread and grew really well, then gone, just like that. Not a single but left.

It’s a bit of a miracle how these delphiniums have survived the army of slugs this spring. The leaves are nibbled, but they still have managed to grow and flower.

Loving all the photos, everyone. :blue thumb: Such variety.

One thing that bugs me is that so many plants have "blue" in their name when they are really purple. This Salvia Oceana truly is blue however, which is why it is allowed a spot in my patch despite being prone to slug attack and having sticky leaves. :dbgrtmb:
