The sun is only half way down the trees at the moment. I have the sprinkler going on the veggies. Ground is cracking up elsewhere as we've had almost no rain for two weeks :rolleyespink:

Dry, but a mix of cloud and sun here, with the gusty winds still going. O'night low of 8 degrees, and 10 just now [approx. 8.20am.] Predicted high is around 12 degrees, and similar to the last few days with a mix of sun and showers, and the gusty winds. Ideal for the washing, as long as there's plenty of extra pegs put on it ;)

Yesterday was wet through most of the morning, clearing up by mid day or so, then a mix of sun with a few showers, and a high of 14 degrees.

Brightly overcast with the dust haze, a light breeze, 19c going to 22c with perhaps showers later this morning. The rain appears to be from Lisbon upwards, lots of it.

That is certainly true here ... we dropped 10 degrees suddenly and you sure feel the difference. Thanks for that insight. My sister lived in Germany (Oldenburg) for 50 years and never told me that.

That's a bit of a worry this early in the year @shiney. Is that the norm for you?

Back in Guildford it's light cloud 15c heading to 20. It was cold overnight at 8c and I see overnight lows around that forecast the next week, with a 5c tonight, no wonder all my seedlings are struggling.

Not unusual. We rarely get more than 600mm of rain a year. :blue thumb:

Blimey. Just shows the massive differences around the country @shiney. We get an average of between four and five feet where I am, and of course, far more in the north west.

I've recorded slightly more in the last few years but around 600 or just above is quite normal for me, I think last couple of years it's been closer to 700 though.
