they are specialist plant pots so it should have drainage and when i fed them i didnt really look as if the soil in the pot was too wet. I also get the feeling that it may be hard to find a larger pot

Hello all I have been feeding the plants almost weekly. This is what they look like now

They look a lot better than they did.
Feeding once a week is a bit too much though I think.
Their nutrient needs are minimal, so once a month is plenty - using an ericaceous feed.
Too much feed will concentrate growth on stems and leaves and it's berries you're after, and branches that can carry the weight of them.

Oh ok I didn't realise that I'm pretty sure the bottle said weekly. I also have two bottles. But I guess it will last

If it's a feed for specifically for blueberries and it says to use weekly, then it's probably not a strong one, so weekly use will be fine.
I use an ordinary ericaceous feed for Azaleas etc and used more frequently then monthy causes too much lax growth and leaves at the expense of berries.
I do give them a seaweed drench a couple of times a year too.

im using miracle gro for azaleas it says every 7-14 days on the back but im happy to lay off it for a while if that will increase the likelihood of fruit forming as thats what i want.

The one on the right could do with weeding.

Yes - that's the same as I use.
Blueberries thrive in very poor, acid soil conditions and only need a low nutrient level, so once a month is plenty while they are growing.

Wow, that's amazing. I've got 3 small blueberry bushes which are fruiting for the first time this year. Never knew they had the potential to produce like that!

It was a few years ago when I was chatting to one of my dog-walking mates and he mentioned he'd got 14 Kg from his 5 bushes - needless to say I was astounded!
I assumed you'd get a few handfuls from a bush and that was it, so I'd never bothered growing them - how wrong I was.
              So I bought 3.
I've had them about 5-6 years now and they're in 15L pots.
I'd guess I get about 5Kg from them between late June and late Sept.
It's great not all the berries are ready at the same time, so there's enough for a small bowlful every day :)

It looks like Petty Spurge Petty Spurge | NatureSpot which is a wild form of euphorbia.
It should pull out easily enough. You can't really stop weeds from appearing, the seeds will blow in on the wind. You just need to pull them out when they appear.
The birds that visit my garden keep gifting me wild cherry trees, there's one in one of my blueberry pots I need to remove. I might pot it up for use elsewhere.

I've just been out and removed the cherry tree (and a thistle from the other one). Mine look nothing like either, but @Pete8 has given me goals!
