Whats your weather like June 2024

Cold. Windy. Drizzly. Heating on. Winter cardigan on. Hot chocolate heating in the pan.

My June memories are probably the strongest of the year as it is my Sister’s Birthday plus Wimbledon. May and June 2020 we probably all remember (for certain reasons).

The morning sun is being replaced by cloud here, and that’s set for the day with rain forecast overnight.

 

Pulling my 14tog duvet over my head, last night; my thoughts were, 'wake me up when flaming June arrives'.

 

Good morning all,cold wind ,sun and cloud with a high of 14c .

 

Just turning cloudy after sunshine earlier, about 15c with a slight breeze.
Our heating also kicked in this morning so must have been quite cold overnight. It's on automatic and we're on a good fixed rate so we leave it be.

 

Well no the sun did not show its face in Farnham London yesterday in fact sat in the bleacher benches watching the baseball we resorted to putting our car blanket over us. Didn’t dampen our spirits still got our picnic basket full of nibbles and homemade banana cake laid on our foldaway table , great fun had by all. Today cloudy and a keen wind just like yesterday.

 

From my school-days diary (and that was shortly after the ice-age).

"First it friz, then it snew
then there came a wind that blew
then there came a shower of rain
then it friz & snew again."

 

Not too bad here today 14 degrees, the odd light shower and the sun has peeped through a bit, breeze was quite strong earlier, but seems to be easing off.

 

Sunny, cloudy, breezy, but no rainy, 26c and humidy.

 

Darker clouds and heavier breeze now - the rain must be on its way.

I’ll close up my poly greenhouse for the night and water pots that the rain doesn’t reach.

 

It's raining right now with a gentle breeze from the west temp 13c feels like 12c
out come the slugs.

 

Sun is out, light breeze, 23c.

 

Slowly been clouding up all day, overcast now and not very warm.
Max was 19c during the earlier sunshine.

A slight improvement here but it's not any warmer. Cloudy with no rain today and less wind. 9C/48F
