The Hebe [bux. Margret] grown from a seedling some years ago is doing well this year

          111_0346.JPG

Cotoneaster [can't remember the variety] with some Clem. macropetala Lemon Dream seedheads
          111_0359.JPG

Fir tree has put on some lovely bright green growth - more than usual this year

          111_0357.JPG

Pond area's looking good now too. Will be better once the water lilies come through, and the new Iris [bottom left] Kumi-no-Obi, which has at least 7 flower buds

My new Geranium pratense Splish Splash has started flowering. Apparently each flower is coloured differently and so far this seems to be the case.

Don’t be too surprised if they eventually just become plain old blue, because this often seems to happen with Splish Splash, the colour is not stable.

I was thrilled to bits to see a patch of wild orchids on the slipway verge coming off the M5 yesterday - such an unlikely spot!

Can't beat the wonderful display of flowers from you all. However very excited about our Kiwi. Last year after 25 years we had a huge harvest....4....kiwis that were very tasty and a good size. This year the plant is outdoing itself with flowers. As always most are up in the heavens and hiding under the lovely foliage but here goes.
