Whats your weather like June 2024

Wet. We have a flood alert with the thunderstorms sweeping in. Good thing is I'm the only person in the allotment, bliss

 

14c in the summer house, very strong wind & rain, oh happy days....what a *^$% Summer so far

 

We have steady constant rain with a gentle breeze, it is doing the ground good as it is soaking in, not just running off, the garden and fields/woods look really full of life rather than battered by the heavy stuff..................................I can still hear the grass growing though..................

 

I always enjoy the days when it's good enough for gardening, but not good enough for barbecues etc!

 

Just had a torrential downpour with hail as well it only lasted about 10 minutes but the ground cant absorb it and lots of standing water.
Brilliant sunshine now but its still feeling cold, absolute disaster so far this "summer".

So much for the forecasted better day today.

Short sharp showers seems to be the theme here for this weekend. I arrived home on Friday evening in the middle of one, we had several yesterday and more today. They look dramatic but don't usually amount to a lot of rainfall - 8mm on Friday but only 4mm yesterday and 1mm so far today.

 

Sunshine all day and up to 20.3c by 4.30 pm - smashing and what a change from yesterday!

High of 28,3c but a constant nice breeze. 23,7c now with a breath of breeze, very pleasant.

 

It started grey yesterday, but the sun came out at 9 while being busy in the garden.
Today 21c and a mix of sunshine and clouds, and no gusts to expert.
Weather in the next days will be perfect. Not warm enough for ice cream, but excellent for cycling.
