Long time not posted here... The rain has finally stopped so I could take some pics of my borders this morning.

These lupins are supposed to be Lupinus 'The Chatelaine pink' but one (not in the pic) was deep blue, and another one here is pale yellow. I complained to 'Promesse de Fleurs' (a well-known and usually reputable online nursery) and they gave me a voucher!

      Rose The Garland-
There's a carpet of petals beneath from all the rain, but I hope I get another week of flowers.
They fill the area with a citrus sort of scent.
The huge amount of orange hips last over winter.

Good to see your garden again @Papi Jo! That’s a nice coloured Heuchera you have, which variety is it?

          Fantastic display there @Pete8!

Enjoying catching up with this thread. I can’t decide if I like Geranium Splish Splash or not? I think it would vary depending on how splishy splashy the sploshes were :dunno:

It’s useful to know that it does vary @CatDouch @Plantminded

The little hitchhiker orchid that came in with a Ligularia many years ago
              111_0408.JPG

Some foxgloves were shading it out, so I removed them.
It's a bit paler than usual because of that, and I don't really like pale purples, pinks or blues, but I make an exception for this. Cardamine pratensis is the other exception to my rule!

Over wintering some of my succulents in the cold frame was a bit risky but most of them have dealt with the cold pretty well!

First photo 3 succulents in a large pot, is now looking rather nice at the front of my hedging,

And the Bunny Ears Cactus which I have had for 12 years is sitting proud on my patio table.

The prettiest lobelia ever (IMVHO :)), grown from a cutting from last yr's plant. Low success rate (20%), but worth the effort. It is called Africa Shine.

A cheering sight - a self sown Lobelia which has made it into the sandstone wall in my front garden.
