      Not as warm this morning for my cuppa outside. Hoping the sun will be out by the time I’m home from work later.

      U.V = high; Pollen = V High.

        Damp cloudy start here. O'night low of 10 degrees [13 just now approx. 8.15am] and supposed to be a decent day, with a predicted high of around 15. The forecasts have had much lower highs than the actual ones in recent days though, as it's been much sunnier than they've suggested. Makes a change!

        Yesterday became very nice, after being cloudy through the morning and early aftn, with just a few spells of watery sun. Mid to late aftn. was sunny and there was a pleasant breeze, which was very welcome as it got to 21 degrees later on. Some rain for a while at night.

          Thank goodness the gale has subsided. Still breezy, sunny and mild. Hotter later. The gale kept blowing until late in the evening last night.

                At the moment it's better than yesterday with sunny intervals and a gentle breeze from the north east temp 17c feels like 17c.

                  Unbearably muggy last evening for our dance classes at les Sables d'Olonne but a pretty pink sunset happening as we left. We live to the east and drove home along the shore road watching flashes of a mega thunderstorm over La Rochelle. It had faded to heavy rain by th etime it arrived here.

                  This morning started cool and grey but there was an impressive flash and instant, skin jumping clap of thunder while I was at physio and rain like stair rods fell. It had calmed by the time I dropped off a coffee table at the local council's recycling shop and was sunny by the time I'd done my raid on the Vietnamese store for spices and ginger beer.

                  Sunny now and 20C but clouds on their way again. Do I risk putting out the washing?

                      We had 17 degrees, but it is cooling a bit now, but dry and sunny with a light breeze, very nice.

                        Its was a fairly cloudy morning with just a few sunny spells, there is more sunshine this afternoon and as such it has reached 22c, but the cold nagging N.E. wind is back so it will feel cold when the sun goes down.

                          Torrential showers, thunderstorms and (apparently) hailstones the size of golfballs in nearby areas. But what the heck, 23C, the lawn's lovely and green and there's no need to water :biggrin:
