Tillandsia flowering, last time was 4 years ago. Over winter it got neglected, relegated from the steamy bathroom to the cold greenhouse. It seems to have thrived since then with bigger flowers

Tango only flowers once a year in my experience, its quite seasonal where they originate I believe.

The Leucospermum overwinters in the garage but put out during spells of non frosty weather, the others are given the protection of my tempory cover, again only totally covered on frosty nights.

Your leucospermum is doing far better than my Leucodendron @pete ! I'm afraid I don't give it the tlc it needs. My seedling from your Tango is growing quite well but needs a bit longer before it will flower.

First of three flower spikes on the Butia odorata this year.
Yet to open and quite strange when it does.

I have two coming @pete, first time.
Couldn't resist this Strelitzia from Lidl for just £6, might be late in the season but it will need a slightly bigger pot .

I don't know whether this Hakea laurina will ever flower, grown from seed bought in Sydney Bot Gardens 6 years ago.

Or the Banksia seedling from @CarolineL now over 6ft high but containerised.

I've still got a Banksia from @CarolineL, it probably needs repotting but its getting heavy to move.
