I dont think many Teddy boys were were going to University, likewise Mods and Rockers possibly a few Beatniks yar, and Hippies, really?

If its all about just rebelling, for rebellion sake, maybe we should stop them voting until they are 25 rather than lowering the age.

I dont know what the last bit means, we didn't do foreign languages at Derby road Primary school.

 

Meh, University is overrated. I've got 2 degrees and I still wouldn't recommend it in the current climate to any 18 year old unless you have a vocation or career path that demands it.

It's outdated, expensive and not fit for purpose. Degree Apprenticeships are the way forward, no time for cult communism, freeing Palestine or pondering your gender if you actually have a job

I don't know what all this talk of young people rebelling is about, I certainly haven't witnessed much of it in the last decade, if anything most of them have been in complete ideological alignment with the establishment!

Ahhh, so the brain hasn't developed, but they are talking about letting 16 yr olds vote in elections.
