Disgusting BBC

 

Sincere apologies, @Nickoslesteros, I tagged the wrong person, I wanted @Nikolaos to explain whether he was blaming the Labour Party for grooming gangs in the North, which seemed to be what he was suggesting.

Sorry @JWK, but it was not me that raised this, I merely asked the poster to explain his post, because I thought it was disgusting.
I will happily delete my post, if the original poster does the same.

 

I have no time for them.
There was a Danish documentary titled "Heartbound, A different kind of love story". However when the BBC decided to air the documentary they changed the title to "Fishing for love, how to catch a Thai bride".

I wrote to the director for his version of why he BBC changed the title, where in other countries this hadn't happened. Below I have copied and pasted the response from the director.

Hi Greg. I couldn’t agree more. We were very unhappy with the BBC title as it is both stereotypical and derogatory. Their reason for changing the title was that Heartbound wouldn’t attract an audience. We argued in turn that their title would put people off. I will pass your message on to the BBC. Thanks for watching. I’m glad you liked it. Greetings to you and your friends in the Thai/UK community. Janus

 

On the Guardian website where it asks you to register for free there is an option “I’ll do it later”, you can then read the article.

Also, exit taxes already exist in one form or another in several other countries, France, Norway, Spain, Estonia, Germany, the US (which also taxes worldwide earnings), Ireland as well I believe.
