Yawn Yawn Wakey Wakey 2024

I’ve done a few jobs between tennis sets. I missed the recycling last week so there was a double load to sort today. I have gathered my old magazines and have a massive pile to go out, but I’ll just put about 8 or 10 per week as they make the bag quite heavy and I don’t want a reprimand sticker! If they go through my bin though, there’s a few bits from the freezer that I couldn’t face faffing with - but if they want to look under the cat poop bags to find it then it’s a fair swap.

Good morning one and all. Quiz Night was interesting but unfortunately we lost by one point - and it was a Cup Match as well. I just enjoy the evening - winning would be great but its not the be all and end all. At least we don't get booed off when we lose!

@AuntyRach, I have done similar to you in risking a wash load. On the previous site as some will know, we on the resurrected thread all referred to our washing machines as Lily's TV because my lovely little cat - no longer with me - was fascinated by it and we didn't mention the dreaded housework directly. So I have now got Lily's TV on but expect I'll have to dry stuff inside.

She looks really into that programme @Ladybird4 - aww bet you miss her.

My cats like the washing basket. When they were kittens I always checked the basket and machine before every wash and still have that habit even though they now too big not to easily spot.

 

Good morning all.
I've done a bit of washing, too- just dog bedding, as I've run out of washer tablets. Cute cat piccie, @Ladybird4. One of our cats, Little Madam, decided to wake us up at 4.30am by walking across our heads via the pillows!
I've mopped the floors downstairs and am having a brew now.
Relaxing with a book next- outside if it's not too cold.

@AuntyRach I just can't say how much! I was in the garden for all of 5 minutes when down came the rain. Driven indoors again. I think I'll console myself with a cuppa and some cake

It sounds like a wash day for a few of us - I also have a line full and another one doing in the machine. it remains dry.
now.

 

@Blue arbour, I was out in the garden for all of 5 minutes when the sky opened so washing will get dried indoors. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
