Dry heat, or humid, out of curiosity?

Thankfully dry. I have lived in Alabama and South Carolina and they are both miserably humid.

My days in Los Angeles were routinely hot but being dry heat, it was much nicer than warm-hot humidity here. What's your comfort threshold for dry heat where you are?

Comfort ... hmmm. As I got older I tolerate the heat less, especially as I have some mobility issues. My ideal temp is probably 25c. We have very mild winters, not going below freezing and day temps 15 to high teens. Currently humidity is 56% and we think that is high.

Some bright spells but hardly sunny, 20c.

Luckily our high was just 30,7c with a breeze. Now it is 28,6c with a nice fresh breeze so will be a good night's sleep with the windows wide open.

We've had a thorough soaking over the last 24 hours. I have been shaking the rain off the flowers before they bend over. According to our black weather book that we keep it was similar in July 2023. But we are only day 9 in July and plenty of time for improvement.

Not many baby runner beans. Flowers have dropped off due to not being pollinated or bashed off by the rain. But I did see a bumble bee about an hour ago and it was quite dry and fluffy and feeding on the nasturtiums.

A dry morning, but wet afternoon, heavy rain forecast and flood warnings, needless to say I neither need to water the garden or top up the water butts, 12 degree now.

Not raining but can't say it's dry really.
Very dark clouds and a bit of wind blowing.
