I decided last year I wasn't going to bother with these again, so a small plant I had just ended up left in the corner of the garden and barely got watered or repotted.
Anyway I felt sorry for it about a month ago and repotted it.
It's just growing away now,, they have surprising powers of recovery but doubt I will get any flowers this year.

I've been spotting some interesting new varieties on Facebook, but I think they are all in America.

Mine is in a pot too. The ones in pots have been suffering with this constant high heat. The only one not is the 'Charles Grimaldi' in the ground which flowers best November/January.

And the scent is lovely. When I repotted it last, I accidentally broke off some roots and so stuck them in compost. They sprouted and grew, but I couldn't give them enough heat over winter.

I've got a 7ft one in a pot, had a few flowers over summer but it's just starting to grow fair amount of flowers.

Strong winds and heavy rain forecast for next week.
I now remember why I stopped bothering with them.

Ours have had a rest period as well but are now about to flower. I think it's the fourth proper flush this year.
