What's Your Weather Like July 2024

My outside temperature sensor showed a maximum of 31.5 yesterday, and there was a hot drying breeze for a lot of it, like being in front of a giant hairdryer. It's forecast a bit better today, max 25 or 26 depending which forecast I look at, and cloudier. The end is in sight- back to better temperatures tomorrow - but the rain that was in the forecast for this afternoon/evening has all but disappeared. It looks like the lucky people with gardens further west are going to get it all.

 

It’s about 20 out with a breeze, but humid.
Grass cutting occurring before the rain comes. Maybe thunder and lightning? I do like a fresh thunderstorm after a period of heat rather than it fizzles out.

I'm getting another perfect day. Sunny, light breeze, high is going to be the low 80'sF or around 27c.

 

Similar to me, the early cloud broke up and now sunny spells or bright.

I don’t think that any of the forecast rain is coming to us apart from the 0.0001 l while cycling. We were promised 10l.

 

If you are really lucky you might get that yellow and red clump down over the channel
Personally, I can do without it.

Damp, overcast start here. O'night low was 9 degrees [13 just now at approx. 8.05 am] and a predicted high of around 15. One forecast has changed quite a bit and says cloudy all day with rain later, and the other is still showing it to be mostly sunny, or a mix of sun and cloud.
That's the problem with all forecasts on this small island of ours - the weather changes very rapidly from one day to the next - and often from one hour to the next, due to position.
For this area, the predicted highs are often very wrong - in either direction!

Yesterday was dry and quite pleasant for a lot of the morning, including a wee bit of sun, with the rain coming in at 2pm. Mostly light, but heavier through the evening, and stopping at about 9pm. The high was 19.

 

Overcast, hint of a breeze, 20c going to high 20s/low 30s.

There is no reprieve here ... we go under another high temp warning tomorrow (Monday) at 10am till 7pm on Tuesday. Actually, it doesn't look much better the rest of the week.
