It’s not going to be a hot day it’s around 12c and we are due a short sharp drizzle soon followed by a breezy afternoon . Tomorrow looks better !. Just started collecting next years nasturtium seeds hanging off our 2 baskets outside the back door as you do .

Cheeky bandit @shiney ! I have to say, the forecast sites I use are actually better than that one. The area where the monitors are is further west than me, and at a lower level, so that can make a difference too.
Our weather here is what it is. I'm used to it. When you've lived in this part of the world all your life, you just get on with it. You'd never get anything done if you were always waiting for a dry day! Most of May was good, and June was quite dry, so I was able to get on with the renewing/rebuilding work I had to do.
The only problem recently is that the cloud levels have been so low, so the hills haven't been ideal, and on the few really good, clear days, I've had other things to see to. C'est la vie
I find it quite funny that many people are talking about sporting events/general events and outings being affected. Growing up, cricket and tennis were very much on the agenda in my parents' house. Those sports were always being rained off. I spent a lot of my working life attending agricultural shows, and it was always a bonus if you got a dry day. The running joke was always the Royal Highland Show in late June -'aye, it'll be raining as soon as that starts...'

Forecast is bob-on with rain starting at 1pm. I just managed to cut some lavender before the wet stuff.

Not a lot of change here ... 35c, 41% humidity ... obviously blue skies no sign of a cloud but a light breeze. So I am on the inside looking out ...

And a screenshot of the closest weather station to me. August total doesn't count today which will take it well over 200mm for the month. Bring on September, might have an Indian summer hopefully

Its been sunny periods all day spoilt by a gusty wind that is not particularly warm.
It managed to creep up to 20c.

It has been rubbish all day. Very windy and cool. It rained at lunchtime and just now.

The CH tried to come on so I turned down the thermo - ridiculous!
