What's your weather like August 2024

Yep 28c here also, its a really nice temperature, but as usual its about to drop tomorrow.
I guess if we can get away without autumnal storms we are laughing, or should be.

 

Crikey, only about 21c here today and forever more. But it was humid and cloudy and pleasant to do some outdoor painting.

Looks as though it's about to do something, but never does.

Can't believe "you people" down south have got it so hot.

 

Squeaked under 32c for several hours this afternoon. Now 26.5c with a nice breeze so had a pleasant 90 minutes sitting out ... didn't even put the misting air cooler on.

 

It's been higher than 'normal' recently - mid 20s - and muggy/mostly overcast. I twisted my knee, so that's the mowing out for a while. Hey ho

 

@cactus_girl It was the same here, just cloudy and humid, only 21c, not all areas in the South have the same weather.

 

It was warmish today but mostly cloudy with a few showers. The forecast for the week ahead keeps changing but looks fairly dry and mild in the main.

 

Summer returned today. Sunny up until a short shower early evening then the sky cleared again. 19C/66F

Another damp, breezy start here. O'night low was 11 degrees [12 just now at approx. 7.35 am] with a predicted high of about 15, with more strong, gusty winds. A mix of showers and cloud, as has been the case quite often this month.
However, this was reported on our news yesterday. Not that we needed told!

Yesterday was drier than predicted, apart from a short, light shower at mid day, until 5pm when it rained for a couple of hours. Very humid, but the predicted thunder/lightning didn't happen. The high was 20 though, so very warm for any activities outside, despite the strong breeze all day.

Drizzle drizzle yesterday on and off all day but warm. Did get overhanging Ivy and London Pride cleared from retaining wall can finish painting it today a nice red brick colour . It’s going to go up to 19c so a gardening day here in SE Wales .

 

I always find it funny when people say 'only' 21 degrees. That would be ideal here, even with a breeze!

 

I would love to say that for daytime temps ... and it is possible for the Winter!

Currently it is 20c, sunny with a light breeze going to low 30s. Our overnight low was 19c.
