Not much going on this last week due too the heat.

The Cane Begonia I severely cut back in The Jungle Room and rooted new stems is coming back and even blooming ...

Not much has been going on the remainder of July due to the heat so I'll just put up what I captured as days passed.

The Jacarandas look good but won't bloom due to cutbacks. By the lane almost taller than the light post now ...

You have a fabulous garden, Victoria! I've only just come across this thread.

It's so different from England where my OH lives and SW France where I live. It would probably be hot enough in France in the summer for some of those plants but winters here can be very cold or very wet. I lost a plumbago and a bouganvillea in the winter. Too cold outside and attacked by pests such as mealybugs inside.

I do love that I can grow such beautiful shrubs and trees. I do miss growing things such as Busy Lizzies though as T'other Half loves them, Petunias and other such delicates as the heat is just too much, especially this summer.

 

I've only just seen this thread too @Victoria - lovely to see such a beautiful selection. I do miss my gardens in France and Spain tho I certainly don't miss the excessive heat
