What's your Weather Like September

Not quite daylight but I can see lots of red berries on our cotoneaster and the odd late flush of weigela flowers out the front garden. Cool 11c presently , calm and still all the trees around us. is on its way brushing up leaves that fall from next doors huge Birch tree that overhangs us begins.

 

Mostly cloudy with a few breaks.
Had a shower just before dark last night Mostly dried up now.

14c cloudy with some sunshine-ish

 

A bright start here, with an o'night low of 6 degrees [7 just now at approx. 7.50 am] with a predicted high of about 14 or 15. Might be higher if that sun stays out well enough, but it's to be a mix all day, and a light breeze only. A lovely autumnal day - my favourite.

Yesterday was largely cloudy through the morning and early afternoon, then some heavy showers for a few hours. Breezy when those were happening. The high was 15.

It’s slightly fresher than yesterday, but 50:50 blue sky and white clouds. It’s going to be the last dry day of the week today here - guess that jet stream has decided not to bring an Indian Summer

 

The weather warnings have disappeared! It will be cloudy and just 16c all day.

But summer returns on Friday with 24c and full sun.

What a difference from yesterday ... Just a hint of s breeze and 27c!

 

Despite the forecast it's surprisingly sunny and 23c ATM.

 

The BBC and MetOffice have extended the warning to Friday. However, it’s no longer the Midlands. Even Oxford is no longer affected. I hope we will get rain at all and I don’t have to carry the garden to Marlborough.
OH booked a bus ticket for Heathrow. OH had pity with me that I’m not the bravest rain driver.

Managed to get the washing out and mostly dry in sunshine, but started cloudy at 12. Feels fresh. Thought for a moment my new jacket would be nice while cycling “home” after work.
15c, and will not increase.

 

I'm under a weather warning for rain from 9pm today until midnight Friday.
When you go into the hourly forecast for the three days it shows 4 hours of light rain tomorrow morning.
Talk about covering all aspects.

Weather warnings are fast becoming the boy who cried wolf, one day, when we need them, nobody is going to take any notice.

 

Summers back it's stopped raining and we have more usual sweaty 14 degrees................
