Well it's wet,on and off rain, heard a clap of thunder in the early hours but not checked the rain gauge yet.
Supposed to be warm but just feeling cold and damp.
But next week looks even colder.

A very damp, misty/smirry start here, but warm, with an o'night low of 14 degrees [14 just now at approx. 7.35am] with a predicted high of about 22, as it's supposed to clear up and be sunny. Strong gusty winds will knock that back a little bit though, which will make it pleasant for being outside.

Yesterday never cleared, just cloudy most of the day with a few very short spells of watery sun, but very mild. The high was 18 degrees, and there were gusty winds later on, but it was warm when doing any work outside.

Quite normal for us to need a fleece on here - at almost any time of year!

Smashing @AuntyRach - I love a good thunderstorm, but we don't get them very often here.
Hope you don't get any damage though...:fingers crossed:

I settled down with my coffee but it didn’t last long (both the thunder and coffee). My lightning app showing a band basically along M4 between Cardiff and Brighton atm.

Feels very mild and "gentle" outside. It was 18c all night long.

Just waiting for a bit of haze to burn off for our hot sunny day to start. I have decided to do some painting then mow the lawn.

                        No rain and expect 25c.

Looking at Sunday it's heavy rain, but that would be the first time for us in a long while. Hope the rest of you are drying out now or soon.

We're looking at a drier spell of weather coming up now. I hope you get the rain you need @cactus_girl. We've had more than necessary, so a bit of drier weather stuff will be very welcome. September is often a good month for us here.

Yesterday was so rainy I didn't go in the garden once, dashed to the garage freezer inbetween showers around 7pm that was it.

Today is worse, thunder and lightning. Need all the lights on in the house. Just under a cloudburst now. The waterbuts will be filling but I'm not venturing outside to check the gauge, the forecast was an inch or so.

Yes, that sounds like here. I actually went out in the rain to pick French beans and cucumbers!
Still raining today. Went to Lidl and noticed they had big discounts on their air conditioners, inflatable kayaks and fire pits. I bet they're regretting stocking up on so many air conditioners, and next year we'll get a serious heatwave and no-one will be selling them!

I made a first strim on my front grass ("No Mow" since May!) earlier this week, but don't know now when I'm going to get to finish it off. It's been full of grasshoppers all summer, and I disturbed some Common Blue butterflies when cutting it.
