Yes lots more people, but it just seems a contradiction to at one point we need to improve peoples health and keep wringing the hands about people dying while at the same time saying we cant afford an aging population.

I'm not sure if its just me, but I cant remember when my parents got old them ever being told they were a burden on the country, people just retired and took their pension with out sniping about the pension being a benefit, it was considered an entitlement.

Its all part of setting one section of community against another.

 

I think you need to look at it from the other end of the scale. There are infinitely fewer people paying in, now that there's a whole layer of society that has never worked, lives on benefits, their children and grandchildren do the same. They cost any government far more than the pensioners, firstly because they don't contribute and secondly because the government's subsidising their 'lifestyle'. No wonder there's a black hole!

Since COVID all our vaccinations, and enoculations have been done from an empty large store in the town, (convenient)
This winter they have moved the service to an estate with a medical practice, that unless you live there, requires people to bus to town, changes busses and travel to the estate
The authorities are already questioning the lack of footfall to get the winter injections

As per usual, the practice has minimum parking for cars and surounded by double yellow lines

 

Oh Canna bis sounded much more fun

 

They were doing them at pharmacies a couple of years ago, but not sure they still do.

 

Win Win:
People would rather be put down than spend the end of their life in agony .
People being kept alive against their will are expensive
Right to die - no brainer
