Thought I'd be polite in the title
Deterring them with dried holly leaves but they move somewhere else. It's not just the sh**e ( the little bar steward has diarrhoea) it's the swarms of bluebottles

Occasionally cats and foxes leave me some surprises. With a spade shaped hoe I place all the staff in a plastic bag and add into household waste bin.

@Alisa . I've been doing that but the bin only gets emptied once a fortnight. It's a bit gross knowing there's little bags of grossness in there

Sprinkle some lavender or mint essential oil about the place as a deterrent against reusing the spot. If I find any "solids", I flush them down the toilet rather than stink out my bin. After all, if it's good enough for human waste ...

Anything too squidgy to move in a neat bundle is more problematic, of course.

Got an outside toilet, yep I know I'm old fashioned and should have got rid of it years ago, but I put the dogs mess down there.

Our water board told me not to flush cat poo down the toilet because it contains pests that their water treatment plant can't get rid of. Only human excrement should go down there.

However I can't see the difference between that and animals pooing in the ground/hedgerows/fields so I still flush it down the toilet after Bella's been using the litter tray at night ...
shhh ! I didn't say that, the words just appeared on the screen
And just for you to know there's no cat litter in the tray, she won't use it with cat litter in it !

If it's in the garden I dig a hole and push it in and then cover it over again.

Yes I had an outside toilet, it was handy if I was in the garden, and when I had a little extension built at the back of the house the toilet was reconstructed inside the extension. It's right by the back door so still handy

Oh, I didn't know that re the water board, @Michael Hewett. I only get a few deposits a yr. Maybe I will take it round to the nearest dog poo bin ... if it is not too overflowing. I wonder where that gets emptied to? Landfill, presumably.

Our dog poo bins end up in the incinerator.

But judging by recent door bell image of the bin men around here, it could end up anywhere.

Lots of stuff showing them emptying the food waste bin into the recycling bin before taking it to the truck, are they too lazy to take two bins or are they told to do this? nobody can find out, but whatever lots of people saying recycling is just another stupid green idea just deigned to wind us all up.
It all goes in the incinerator, I'm almost sure, just get the idiots to put it all in separate bins first.

I've seen them putting kitchen waste in the garden bin now and again. Fair enough.
There's a local energy producing incinerator that I suspect everything else gets dumped in. No checks made on contents of the bins that I've noticed. Neighbouring boroughs are particularly particular from what I've heard.

That would only be effective if the cat didn't have the squits. You'd be forever wiping it

In a previous garden, our neighbour's cat used to leave droppings on the lawn. I used to toss them over the fence, until the parcel ended up 3ft up the neighbour's fence, the other side of her garden. I still wonder whether she considered how her little darling got it that far up!!
In our last garden, I used to toss it over the rear fence into the field beyond.
In our current garden, it just goes in the garden waste - provided it is dry and hard.
