veggie raised beds...how to close them down for a year

    I think they use an annual type, tbh it was just a suggestion.

    I think everyone is forgetting we are looking for something that is going to cover the beds for 18months.

      I agree with those who said cover with landscape fabric, even better to mulch or manure first. I have done that and it worked. There were far fewer weeds when I used the bed again and the soil had improved with the mulch.
