It was forecast to be cloudy and raining then clearing after lunch. In reality it is sunny and 10c and not being 9 a.m. yet, I know it will get up to pleasant working temps.

More rain yesterday, 8.5mm in the gauge this morning. Today is bright and breezy - the washing is out on the line.

Or do you mean 350% or 3.5 times normal? That's an awfull lot. Ours is about 200 or 250% - never quite sure where we are on the map.

We were out for lunch today with friends and it was great ... partially overcast with a high of 25,9c and breezy, now at home 24,6c still with a breeze and partially overcast. It is nice not having the sun full time.

Sat in the sun earlier for a short while, its clouded over now and trying to rain yet again.

They forecast a gusty NE wind, but its not really been that bad, its been worse when they haven't even mentioned:dunno:

I think its something like 350 litres per square meter, its not a measurement I've ever come across, so cant really get my head around how much rain that is.

1 litre per square metre is 1mm depth as measured in a typical rain gauge. so 350 litres per square metre is 350 mm. That's well over half our average annual rainfall here. It's not meaningful unless you know what length of time it fell in - a day, a week, a month, a year?

But the map says % of average 1991 - 2020. I have not looked up what they mean by average. Is that in litres per square m? I have no idea.

Ok, TBH not looked at the graph.
The trouble is we keep getting silly things like percentages of average, which to me just means the average is wrong if its wildly different and needs updating.

350mm is a lot of rain, yes slightly more than 6 months worth.

Your first map showed 350%, and we were between 300 and 350%.
I collected in those 4 days 600l rain, but there has been a lot of more because the butts were full. That is for September 3.5x more than usual. We should have an average of 100l in September.
