I assume its Y. elephantipies if it has no sharp spines, its mostly a houseplant here unless in very mild areas.
It gets almost tree like eventually, nice to see it flowering.

They are too tall to know. :heehee: The first I saw a bloom was of my sister's bloom in Florida and I "think" she said they were not. The little plants in between are Aloe Vera. Note Bougainvilla still blooming.

Yucca flowers, are not scented, or at least the ones I've come across are not, strangely they are often pollenated by moths, at least most of the desert ones are.

To be honest, i don't know. We bought the two-bloom one as a houseplant in 2017 and Jim wanted it in the ground so planted it in the lane. Then it had a pup so that is the other blooming one. He got three more pups and they are planted by other boundary posts on the lane. They go crazy once in the ground ... red clay and mimial watering.

I have seen that type tree like and they flower high up, They form a large base which I think the name elephantipies suggests, like an elephants foot.

I planted a reasonably large one in my garden a few years ago, it was about 7ft tall.
It came through the first winter with some damage but was killed down to the ground the second winter.

It's still alive but makes very little progress now.
They do get quite big even in the UK in city centres and coastal areas.
